How did the fork snap happen? I've got the fork on order but nervous as it's not certified or anything - just cheap from China.
I know that @svendhöek and @Lukas have used it with success. And yours didn't snap.
Keen to understand the details as it might mean I have to keep looking for a cheap alternative...

Full build for sale.
99% sure it's a Raleigh Equipe frame from 1987 in orange. Used condition, but the bike has been built up with excellent parts listed below.
60cm seat tube and 57 top tube.
