Navigator Pista Wheelset (clinchers) with Gatorskins, inner tubes, Miche cog, lock ring and track nuts.
Wheels bought new in the middle of summer so not had much use.
Both wheels run smooth and true.
Front has had brake wear as you can see in the photos.
The Miche cog will come off, but I’ve lost my chain whip, so it’s included as I cba to pop to the LBS to remove.
Gators have plenty of life as you can see the wear indicators on both tyres (pictured).
I’ve already got a box for postage too so they can be sent ASAP.

Anyone know what tool I need to get this off? I’ve already managed to remove the outer ring using my lock ring tool, but this thing needs a specific tool.

Also, any idea which way it will need to turn to get it out? The outer ring came off anti-clockwise.

Yeah that’s mine!

The seller told me the steerer was 255mm and when it arrived it wasn’t... so it won’t fit.

Hence I’m selling that and need something else.

I’ve edited the first post as I’ve decided to hold out for a Colnago fork or the old style Columbus Minimal. Thanks anyway!

Bought on eBay and imported from Italy, been waiting a few weeks for this to arrive only to find out that it was listed with an incorrect steerer length. Sadly meaning I have to sell it as it's not long enough!! Gutted.

If anyone knows much about old Eddy Merckx stuff I’d appreciate a view on this.

I’m pretty sure it’s fake as I can’t find anything remotely similar online.

1. The rear dropouts look orange beneath the green suggesting it’s been painted
   
2. The yellow and pink stickers are the opposite position to all others online
   
3. The front fork appears to be quite relaxed and not like the race geometry on other vintage EM frames
   
4. Also the metal work around the head tube doesn’t seem to match with anything else EM.
   
   

The thing that fascinated me though is that if it is a fake, then getting the real decals is pretty good going. It’s also rusty and well weathered suggesting it was faked a number of years ago.

Maybe it’s just a cheap EM frame set that’s been long forgotten.
