Other than a few death metal review sites I barely use the internet other than for work. Lfgss is the only place I’ve ever interacted with others on the internet and, whilst I rarely post, it’s been part of my daily life for many years and I’ll miss it a great deal.

The reasons for shuttering the site make total sense, and I would do exactly the same were it my call or responsibility. Thank you so much for running the site and all the work that has gone on behind the scenes, Velocio. I have appreciated this site so much.

Better to do it properly next year than rush through yet another bodge job where no one understands what is being implemented and when, and neither private nor state schools are ready for the impact (particularly where the kids have special requirements and might slip through the net).

Still, I totally agree the optics just look like yet another u-turn / cock-up.

My wife’s bike is finally off the turbo trainer after the fourth and last maternity leave!

She’s had the etap off my Stayer, new chainset, finally got round to chopping the steerer etc. Feels like a new bike and great to see if getting outside again!
