Clear-out! Lots of parts for sale and some misc bits too.
I do not live in London currently. I will post everything for an extra £2.50, though the starred items are collection only from Sheffield due to cost/lack of boxes, or I could meet the buyer at King’s Cross or Islington the next time I visit my sister in a few weeks. Please let me know if any prices are way off, and I will donate roughly 5-10% of whatever the cumulative total is to the forum.Pictures here: (https://drive.google.com/open?id=1gUEeX5cQBvq1p9KKgrdVWh6lOIc1X0Xd)
Parts/Frames:
• Claud Butler 60’s frame that I have had for ages but never built. Thread here has all the info and more pics. £85. * (https://www.lfgss.com/conversations/291047/#comment13204676)

• Two SR stems. £10 each.
• Suntour Stem Friction Shifters. £25.
• Retro 105 Brake Levers, bit scuffed. £20.
• Campagnolo Chorus BB. Wasn’t overly smooth when it was in the Madigan (in the folder) but seems fine just fiddling with it now. £30.
• Stronglight Japan seatpost. Was in a Raleigh Record Spring at one point. 99.99% sure it is 27mm. £15
• Selle Italia Saddle £12.5
• Dura Ace Fixed Cog 15t. £15. SOLDMisc:
• Large Rab Fleece £30.

Please message me if you interested in them though – they are a fixed gear Madigan bought from here

No real bargains but seller whittling down a large collection of classic lightweights https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/theclockbarn/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_ipg=&_from=

@MCamb I am potentially interested in it! Been speaking to the seller, it is Dedaccia steel tubing - which I know nothing about. Is it that much of a bargain? It is pure cross - no rack/guard mounts which makes it less versatile

Love builds like this. Some inspiration via @t0-ster https://www.pedalroom.com/bike/marin-redwood-28664

Enjoying my new MTB and riding in Sheffield too. I sold my Kaffenback, hoping to use the funds from that, the fixed madigan and this Dawes to have a better steel road bike with guards for commuting/odd longer rides/riding into town and maybe some light touring. End of thread I guess - cheers for all the help.

Also built the madigan up, but I need to sell that unfortunately and maybe even this Dawes, because I am collecting a proper MTB tonight (Trek Roscoe 8) and need the space and funds. Been after an XL hardtail, 27.5, 1x with a dropper post for a while.
Commuted to work all summer which was enjoyable on my Kaffenback, even if the cycling infrastructure in the Midlands/North isn't quite there yet.

I have similar dilemmas with myself all the time. If I were you, I would not want to ruin or downgrade the Argos and would share the concern with locking it. Why don't you keep that on the wall as a feature that you can still use, still then have 3 bikes (photo attached) and build up a beater with 32c/rack/guards that you can lock anywhere/maybe keep outside (photo attached). Could you keep a beater at work?

Managed to lose the bolt and washer to clamp the gear cable when I snapped my hanger. Got a new inner cable in before realising, and a LBS said they couldn't order a new one and didn't have a spare when doing it. Where can I get one does anyone know please? It's a sram NX1 mech
