As you probably know, AK was a german manufacturer so maybe you can find some more info on a german board. Here's 44 pages of Kotter knowledge, maybe post a picture there... the forum is generally helpful and friendly.

I finally saw the frame in the flesh and gotta say I really like it. The fades are a bit sloppy here and there but imo it just adds character...
I got these matching purple look carbon pedals. So far I had toeclips on all my bikes. Since clipless would be more period correct for the Olmo I'm thinking about getting some cleats and shoes... -

Just as for real porn, a definition for bikeporn, as applied consistently by this noble board, is not entirely subjective. It should be noted that the exercise of determining whether something qualifies as porn or not does indeed involve a subjective component. However, this subjective component should be understood as a margin of discretion which is clearly circumscribed by a common understanding of what constitutes a tasteful bike.
To put it in the words of Associate Supreme Justice Potter Stewart:
[I can't define what is pornography.] "But I know it when I see it."

So I decided to extend this thread to my other projects since I think that it's more convenient. Hence the edited title.
At the beginning of this week I bought a lo pro. My plan is to build it up with a shimano 600 tricolor which I already have. Regarding the wheels, It would be nice to find a reasonably priced disc wheel for the rear or alternatively, I was thinking about building disc wheel covers myself. I know that many people on here probably consider this boderline or even full-on anti, but I like to experiment and build things and if they look shite I'll just abandon the idea. The bars are cut and flipped drop bars, since I'm not willing to spend 60+ € for proper bullhorns atm. -
Mh, I do like the colour and I think it would make for a nice look. But I always felt like the Benotto tape, as beautiful as it is, really suits bikes from the 80s rather than machines from the 90s. But this is probably subjective, so I'll consider it :)
Btw: Your super gentleman is drop dead gorgeous! Love the pantos and the Benotto tape on yours is spot on! -
Thanks for the comments, I think I'm gonna follow your suggestion and go for white tape despite the black hoods. I already got the white regal and the black flite anyway so I'm just gonna try both of them and make my final decision once the build is finished. Btw: i think you posted the wrong link, it shows some white selle italia bar tape, no hoods tho...

Congrats on the San Remo, it really looks lovely! And I'm totally feeling you regarding the addiction to bikes and the need for counseling ;) I pulled the trigger on a mistery lo pro this week, so I also have 2 projects at the moment....
I guess pink tape is a bit too much on this one. I love the pink benotto tape on your Moser, but I think white tape would look better on my Scatto.

No bargain to be expected here... but I thought maybe someone on here is looking for one. -

Mini update: Just bought a Flite Ti in mint condition. This raises the question: which colour should I use for the bar tape? Initially I thought I'd go for a white saddle and white bar tape. Now I'm thinking about black tape as the hoods of the brake levers are also black. Then again the frame has white pantos so maybe I should use the flite for another project and instead use the white Regal that I already have.
And what about cable guides? Maybe a black saddle and black bartape but white cable guides to match the pantos, or do you think that would look weird?Comments are very much appreciated :)
P.s. how come the 'flite' logo on my saddle is white? It's usually yellow, isn't it?

I'm thinking about purchasing this frameset incl. the front wheel. If you're wondering: in case I buy it, I'll build it up as intended with gears. Seems to be another mystery lo pro, any clues what it might be? No pantos and I haven't seen the frame in person, so all I have are these photos:
- Tubing is columbus Cromor
- The geometry with the double slope in both the top tube and the seattube was build by various manufacturers e.g. concorde, daccordi... But the concorde had the shifter bosses aero style on top of the downtube and the daccordi had pantos on all of their frames afaik.
- Maybe the lugs give a hint? What strikes me is the following: the top tube seems to be fillet brazed onto the seatpost-lug while all other joints seem to be lugged. You can see this on the last 4th and last photo..
This would be my first lo pro, so any (expert) input is welcome!
Thanks in advance :) - Tubing is columbus Cromor
It's for sale on the german ebay/craigslist kind of thing: https://m.ebay-kleinanzeigen.de/s-anzeige/coppi-reparto-corse-for-three-rennrad-prototipo-esclusivo-57-cm/467668531-217-4531 but no price is specified...
