Afaik, the retention springs are prticularly short on some shimano v-brakes. Might be worth checking if some others do the job.

That looks very neat indeed. There are cheap chinese ti post on ebay Can‘t comment on the quality tho. I found a cheap van nicolas on marktplaats for 50€ a couple years ago. Maybe post a wanted ad on here? 3ttt pro chrome stems are good budget alternative for a reasonable match with a ti post.

Lovely build! Before you splash on the matching seatpost, maybe try to visualize it with silver (possibly ti) finishing kit. Might help accentuate the VMB vibes you got going on with the silver hubs and spokes.

The Shimano Alfine dynamo is geared at 280% to drive the THREE Busch und Müller IQ-X lights. Thanks to the gear ratios, the lights shine at full power with approx. 720 lumens even at walking speed. Additional remote control on the handlebars.
