Here’s my stock Arkose, did a good 70km of gravel and road on it today, aside from the need for a slight gear adjustment, can’t really fault it.

lol. yeah will pop in and see if I can get someone with more know-how regarding hydro brakes to have a look. last thing I want to do is spill all the fluid out or something and need to bleed the lines if I don't have to.

Ok so there are in fact two connectors on each of the four wires running from the levers. Look like they could be a quick unscrew and switch job.

Can anyone confirm if this is possible (and which one of these pics is in fact the brake haha)

I’ll have to check later but I actually do think I noticed the hoses have some sort of little connector near the bars. I didn’t know what it was for but would be brilliant if it was for making easy and quick connections.

Nice one guys, will look more into it. Have not a clue how hydro cables connect/disconnect at the lever though...but perhaps the inner-webs can be of some help. How hard can it be, heheh

Is it just a simple switch of hoses though Ed? Surely the short one needs switching to a long one...no?

Also I’m not entirely sure my ham-fists can handle the job. May need to bring it to LBS

Only potential issue is the reversed brakes (left back / right front). Totally not used to it setup like that at all. Any quick fix or is it new hoses, re-cabling etc?

I really want to love the Arkose 2 but - again, I don't think that turquoise blue on the evans site does it any favours...for me anyways :)
