Single Speed Bike - Custom build, Specialized Langster Frame, 60cms, Top Spec
Please PM me with offers. Or text me on 07843307089
A labor of love. I personally hand built this bike over a period of 6 months, using only the best parts to build myself the perfect single speed bike. Sadly I have not had a chance to ride it as I have 2 other bikes which get much more use. It has done very low mileage and is virtually spotless. The paintwork is immaculate.
A bit about the bike:
It is a 60cm frame (from the crank to the top of the frame). The frame is from a lovely Specialized Langster - steel frame, which I had professionally powder coated in this lovely light green colour (the powder coating was done by Armourtex in Hackney who are considered the best). The crank is a 52 tooth, which is quite highly geared, as this is how I like to ride (a bit faster). The pedals are SPD on one side and normal on the other side - allowing you to use SPD (clip-in) shoes if you want, or any normal shoes. As I built the bike myself, for my own use, all of the parts have been properly lubricated and oiled prior to being installed, so this will prevent any issues in future.
The parts:
Front Wheel: Weinmann - Ultimate Power deep V, yellow - 700c
Rear Wheel: I'm not sure of the brand but its a lovely chrome 700c with a nice profile
Tyres - Front and rear Continental Gatorskin 23mm with lots of life left
Stronglight A9 - Sealed Cartridge headset
Brake levers: 2x Diatech Goldfinger (black)
Crank: Salsa 52T 130mm BCD, Alloy
Pedals: Shimano M324 - Double sided pedals (SPD one side - normal pedal the other side)
Front brake: System Ex
Saddle: Vintage black Selle San Marco Rolls
Brake cables: New and well greased
Bar tape: New and professionally wrapped
Seat post: Cinelli Vai - Black -
