    Hi everyone,

As third year Sports Science students we are looking for volunteers to take part in our research into endurance performance in cycling.

We are based at Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge. All tests will be cycle based and participation will grant you a free VO2max assessment which will show you the maximum amount of oxygen that you can use during exercise. Additionally will we give you a Critical Power assessment which represents the maximum work rate that you can maintain (non-stop) during exercise. Finally we will be able to determine your anaerobic capacity from these tests. If you are interested in knowing how fit you really are and improving your training these measurements are vital for any endurance athlete. We will be starting our research between mid of October till end of November.

Attached to this email is a document with more details of our research. Please email cbjbresearch@gmail.com if you are interested or have any other questions.

    Thank you,

    Christian Bernal and Joe Biggins
