1995 Kona Fire Mountain. 18" Frame. Forest Green Metallic paint. Project 2 forks. STX RC & Alivio gears with gripshift and Kona brake levers. Correct Velocity stem and Kona Racelite bars. In need of some love and attention. Ideal retro restoration project or winter hack. It does have some decal and paint damage, but as expected for age. It needs a new seat post and saddle. The current Kona Race Lite post is stuck and has been damaged in an attempt to remove. I bought this as a project for the wife to use, but shes said no so it must go. Buyer to collect. 2010 Kona Paddywagon 54cm
By far the most reliable and fun commuter I've owned, yet a very capable single speed at long distance rides and training. With 42x16 gearing it's possible to tackle all but the steepest of climbs and will also cruise comfortably at around 22-23 mph. This is a super smooth and lightweight example of this legendary Kona model, with upgraded wheels consisting of Condor hubs, rear flipflop with shimano freewheel and unused fixie cog, laced to Mavic CXP22 rims. Both running smoothly and 100% true on Maxxis Detonator 28c tyres. The brake pads have recently been changed with new cartridge inserts and also a recent sram pc01 singlespeed specific chain. All in all, this bikes in great condition and is running absolutely perfectly in every way. It does have a few scuffs and scratches but only reflecting a used but very well cared for example. This is a reluctant sale, but due to injury it's unlikely to be used for some time. As you will see from the pictures I've previously run this bike with just a front brake, as seen with yellow bar tape, and a 16 function bikehut speedo fitted with cadence and temperature functions. The computer and these bars/tape can be included if the asking price is met. Any trial welcome and with a suitable deposit i'm happy for you to take the bike for a decent ride.
