I got them because I wanted to give wheel building a go and:
A) they look different to most other rims, they're easily identifiable with the big logo printed along them, and I had seen them on cheap builds, right through to really nice builds with much more expensive components
B) they were cheap, and considered to be pretty solid
C) they're reasonably wide as I wanted to run 25s or 27s on my bike. -

I had a pair of no-brand bullhorns that came drilled for a brake, with a little guide too, had to spend some time filing the crap out of it until it was actually big enough to fit a cable outer through, bar wasn't reinforced in any way where it was drilled, pretty sure if you buy some bars you like and drill'em you'll live to tell the tale

The dirt will have to stay on the garage floor until the Rapha/dyson collaboration. A Rapha Bladeless fan to keep you cool while you suffer on your home trainer, the vacuum full of Californian dirt and the empty collectors dirt jar on the counter complete the black and white suffer picture story that accompanies the new collaboration.
