After getting home and having a look, the rubber strips that came with the roof bars are like this so can't be pushed down like the BMW video suggests. I'll need to find another solution!

Can anyone advise on how to extend my WiFi coverage into the garden?
We have an Eero gateway plugged into the router in the hallway, which gives decent coverage for the the whole house. Then an Eero extender in the BBQ hut (15m from the back wall and just over 20m away from the gateway) which gets a medium signal, not very strong but it works.
I tried putting another extender in the barn which is another 20m from the first extender (40ish metres from the gateway) but that didn't work. I seem to recall reading that Eero networks have a limit of 100ft from the gateway... -
This wasn't obvious from the Thule instructions! Thanks again and looking forward to peaceful bike carrying (after I've driven home from Wales whistling all the way).

Thought that might be it, thanks, will cover the slots. I wanted to leave the rubber strips intact to reinstall when I remove the bike rack, but I'll come up with something. Will probably just have to put up with it for the drive back home from Wales!
And yes "audible feedback as to speed" is definitely a feature I now have, arguably more effective than average speed check cameras.

Whistling roof rack question. I've just installed some roof bars, supposedly aerodynamic profile. They have a rubber strip covering the central slot. I removed the strip to fit a Thule 598 bike carrier. With the bike carrier installed there is quite a noticeable whistle when driving over 50ish mph.
Did I do something wrong or is this just normal? Obviously the car's aerodynamics are affected by the bars and rack (and the bike on top) but it's a bit annoying.
I'm wondering if I should have cut down the rubber strip to cover the parts of the slot on either side of the Thule mounting points?

Oh thanks - we have plenty of ladybirds, I'll see if they'd like to relocate to the aphid tree.
@Eejit thanks also, yes they do seem to be farming, hopefully ladybirds + tape will do the trick.

Any recommendations for how to deal with (what appears to be) aphids on my pear tree?
Interesting - so does it basically make the steering slightly stiffer in the first part of the handlebar turn? I can see how that might help with steering control on technical terrain.
