Genesis Flyer
54cm frame,
single speed,
halo rear wheel.
(Pedals not included but can be sold with at an addition)It’s been my commute bike for the past 10 years, but selling as I’m commuting further and need racks etc.
I’ll give a proper clean before sell/collection, as I’ll be using it up until then.
If you want me to do this I’ll need deposit before collection - £15.As you can see it’s well ridden but everything is running well.
It had a light service a year ago.
Then I replaced the freewheel and crank cassette, and chain. I also brought the rear Halo wheel.I’ve also recently replaced rear tyre, which has done about 100 miles.
A few months back I changed the grip tape, which I obviously did such a terrible job of as its now come loose, one bar end missing. So will need new tape fitted.
Will be happy to sell with new chain - CN IZUMI STANDARD TRACK 1/ SVR. As this could also do with replacing.
Things to note / right brake level got knocked and has turned inwards - it just needs a long key to loosen and re-align. I don’t have this.
It could do with brake new pads (these are shimano and can be changed out separately of new brakes), and although brakes work fine they could do with a general service.
Wheels are running fine. The usual from general day to day use.
It’s a great bike. The 54cm frame fits me and I’m 5ft 9”, 82cm inside leg. It probably wouldn’t suit anyone taller - more suited to someone 5ft7” - 5ft9”.
Collection from Islington in London. Happy to meet at Kings Cross station if needs must - but for this payment will need to be made in advance.

I don't normally post things on here but I just had a very experience at a shop. I went to cycle studio http://thecyclestudio.co.uk in Stratford Upon Avon. It is a great shop. Had a wheel that needed truing. Mechanic did it there and then, and then saw that the inner/tyre had been put on with levers (whoops), refit the tube, then proceeded to sort out the brake pad height and sort the gears and cables, whilst explaining to me how to do it! All for £15. I could see that it was all so easy for him, and I was very impressed that he didn't treat me like an idiot, and he let me watch. Also the shop is very nice. Lots of nice gear and bikes. Worth checking out.

Forks have been professionally polished and lacquered.

Since I got the bike I got the headset serviced and replaced.
I am asking for £200 - will consider to split if all main components are wanted.
Spoke to mechanic about the chipping by seatpost, was told this would be fine on a steel frame.Selling because I have a neck ache because the bike is far to large for me - might consider a 55cm swap.
