Anyone know much about Montreal?
I'm flying there next week, staying for a few days, before cycling around in circles for a few months. I'm looking for a bike shop to help me put my bike back together. I can do most of it myself, but I'll probably need the use of a torque wrench.
And I'm sure there'll be something I forget to pack, or just get completely wrong. Or (hopefully not) something gets bent in transit. Also, If you have any other tips, I'm all ears. And eyes, and other parts of the body. Where's a good part of town to stay? I like good food, especially anything unique to Montreal, and good beer. Dieu du Ciel is the only thing I've planned to go see so far.
Thanks for your helpings!

Depends slightly what you are after, but I drink a fair amount of https://twitter.com/orbitbeers. Simple, well made, German style beers.
Not a brewery, but you may find https://twitter.com/bottle_shop interesting.
Not London, but Burning Sky and Wild Beer co are getting better and better every month.
Hope that helps

So I've got a little beery bike trip lined up for next week,
I'm heading down to Bristol to go to Bespoked with my dad on Friday. I'm going down early to go see friends near Castle Cary, and cycling to Bath and staying there Wednesday. Then cycling to Bristol on Thursday, and I've arranged to visit a few breweries whilst I'm there.
Any Bristolites have any favourite pubs they'd recommend? I've only got the Moor tap room, and Small Bar on my list so far.
And any favourite pubs in Bath? Haven't really looked into Bath yet.
Thanks for your help.

Hi guys,
I'm new to this forum (I've been snooping around for a few weeks), but I might as well make myself at home.
I went to a beer festival in Flanders at the weekend. beer list here: http://acbf.be/beerlist/
I thought I would mention that there's a Jester King tap takeover in The Kings Arms, Bethnal Green on Wednesday night. Apparently the last few meet the brewer things have been very busy, but their beers are pretty special. If you like mixed-fermentation beers, beers with a touch of sour and funk to them, then Jester King are worth the extra euros.
I might write up my trip at some point soon, or at least any future beer and bike tours. Cyclng in Flanders is pretty superb, especially so if you like lambic and Gueuze.
Slowly getting sucked into the world of touring. Wish me luck.
