Jenrick has so far come across as quite exceptionally corrupt even by standards of today's politicians, though.

And stupid enough to give sound bites about the Chagos Islands transfer completely blaming Starmer, when his party (under Cleverly and Cameron) had been responsible for the negotiation process.

Even the spouse of David Frost (chief Brexit negotiator) had been the lead official negotiator for the foreign office on the Chagos treaty with Mauritius, so it wasn't exactly a secret within the Tory party?

And the Beeb can't get another journo to do it because the Bozza likely wouldn't speak to anyone else.

There was some BTS content of LK interviewing BJ when he was PM where she definitely showed Dorries-like body language toward him, so I'm not surprised something like this email thing happened - even if it was an 'accident'.

Her political stance has become clear in her interviews and weekly pieces on the Beeb.

    Has Chiesa played at all?

He came on for a few minutes at the end vs AC Milan, the last 20 mins against Bournemouth and the first 60 mins vs WHU

Epic fail for me! I was at this place today and posted this pic in the Epic Win thread - well, I did say that it could have been posted in several threads...

There are several threads this could be in, but this one has been quiet for a while, so here goes.

So, visiting Chicago for the first time, you want to get a Chicago hot dog, right? I find a place with good reviews, get the dog and sit outside to eat said dog. I noticed many pedestrians heading towards me and taking pictures of the sign behind me - but they didn't look like tourists even though the place is well know. I finish the great food and go to see what all the fuss was about...

p.s. when I said I ate the dog, I meant I ate the hot dog, not an actual canine - just to avoid any confusion!

A bit of a rare event at LHR tomorrow. An Airbus Beluga is due in to deliver some bits to repair a BA Airbus A350 that has been poorly for five months after being clobbered by a Virgin Atlantic 787. Best estimate of the arrival time I can see is around 11:00.

What I don't understand is where I'm being taxed when I use an ISA cash product versus a Bonus Saver cash product.

Because you've already paid tax on the cash that you've transferred into your cash or S&S ISA?

I did self assessment a couple of times to cover some freelance work and didn't have to declare any interest or dividend payments that were inside my ISAs.

Perhaps because the election date was only known to Sunak and a small number of his staff, so there was not much time to get the campaign going. And the May council elections wouldn't have improved the moral of local activists?

Another guess is that Sue Gray (and others) could have coordinated the Labour campaign to be prepared for whenever the date was announced and had been preparing for months?

She’s like an unflushable turd isn’t she?

So, after the Brown defeat in 2010, the Tories won in 2015, 2017 and 2019 (the last two with numpty Tory leaders).

After the Truss/lettuce leadership, though, the party was blown away in 2024. Maybe she should have stopped going on about cheese, pork markets and tax cuts and talked about Blair's 'agenda'? Ultimately, she's just a lightweight only interested in her own future. Like her predecessor as PM.

One thing in the reporting today begs a question in my mind. The BBC news says that there was no ID on the gunman, and that he was identified via DNA. Does that mean that his (or one of his relatives?) DNA was is in the FBI/federal/state/police records because of a previous arrest/crime? Or is DNA collected more widely in the US than here in the UK?
