Hi all. I recently bought a genesis equilibrium with a 'raw' steel frame and it is starting to rust a lot. I would like to protect it, but ideally without stripping it down. I am happy with how it looks (actually quite like the rusty steel look) I just want to protect it from further corrosion. I am looking at using boiled linseed oil or a clear lacquer.. Has anyone got any suggestions. Thanks, Fred

I had a black, lightweight fixed-gear stolen from Kingsland Road in Dalston. The whole frame is covered with black tape, the right footclip is broken and there is damage to the seat. If anyone see's a bike matching this description on-the-road, in any bike shops or markets in north-east Ldn - pls contact me on 07776198433 .
My friend built this bike and I've used it everyday for around 5 years. I am still looking for a decent pic, will upload ASAP.
Thanks!
Fred
