Hello All,
I'm looking at selling my fixie. This is mainly due to the fact that im saving up for a car (im only 17) and that i've hardly ridden it since building. It was great fun, however im more into my MTB. Road ridings not really for me :'(
Frame: 57cm Peugeot Carbolite 103 Road Frame, dating from 1982/3
Wheels: SingleSpeedComponants Workhorse 700c Flip Flop Wheelset. Pair of Michelin Dynamic Classic tan wall Tyres mounted with new Innertubes.
Drivetrain: Original Peugeot Crankset with a 52t Chainring. An 18t Fixed Cog and 17t Freewheel are mounted out back, which are driven by a wide 1/8 Chain. Brand new BB was also installed
Brakes: Original Weinmann Brake Levers connected to new Acor Brake Calipers.
Finishing Kit: Original Seatpost with a brown Charge Spoon. Handlebars come in the form of some original GB (Gary Burgess). A basic retro Stem and brown Deda Bar Tape finish the package. All the original parts are in great condition. Few marks as expected (the bike is over 30 years old!) Everything else was brought brand new in the summer of 2014. Doubt ive got more than 250 miles on it since building :( Really impressed with how it rides
Headset and BB both have loads of life left. Sealed bearings in the wheels are smooth as butter. Brake pads also have plenty of life left. Rear tyre is starting to wear. Please note, i will not be supplying the pedals pictured, however i have a set of cheapo plastic flats which i can include. I will also include the inner 46t Chainring and a shorter Stem.
Im looking for around £350 + Postage, however im open to offers and looking to sell quickly. Any questions please get in touch!

95% built now, only waiting on bar tape
So stoked on how the build turned out, riding fixed gear is addictive. The bike is so fast, it accelerates like nothing I've ever ridden before. I'm still learning how to ride fixed, and if i was to explain my first few rides, i'd say it was like learning to ride a bike all over again! Pedal straps are quite a pisstake getting in and out of but im slowly learning the technique...
I cant wait for the bike to be complete, i chose components which kept in line with the retro look, such as brown bar tape, saddle and whitewall tyres, aswell as getting low profile rims and keeping the original bars, seatpost, stem and cranks... The 52 tooth chainring, paired with the 18 tooth fixed and 17 tooth freewheel make climbing a bit of a challenge, however on the flat, this bike really does crank up some speed.
Cant wait to ride it this summer, got a few road rides planned for it, including a hilly 60 mile epic, which should be quite challenging fixed/single speed... Here's the pic from yesterday mornings quick ride, i will take a better one once the bike is finished!

Thanks for the info guys.
I know its priced quite high. Especially to you guys who really know their stuff about fixed gear e.t.c Ive got it for sale locally and on Pinkbike so hopefully someone may be interested. Cant remember the exact amount i spent on it but i'd like to at least get all of that back!
I'll knock the price down to £250 + postage and see how it goes. Used market is great for buyers but crap for sellers! Had the same trouble with my MTB last year :(
