Not to be a buzz kill but I have 2 questions.
How can the release angle be the same as stock cleats if the ramp dictating the angle isn't present?
Are you sure that you're not doing any damage to your pedal by wedging a larger piece of metal under the bars, have you used the stock cleats at all since trying these?
Also I don't have problems with good condition cleats and pedals, I had problems with pedals that had become loose.
what is the ramp dictating? , there are two angles at the end of the rear tooth...i think this isn't a problem for the pedal, under the spring there is a lot of space....and the tooth isn't larger than the original it's only straight
i hope i'm ready to express my thought my english isn't so good....
many thanks for your appreciating my ride :-)

Ah yes, I see the difference now. You should put up a side by side with the originals.
I like the idea but Atac cleats are expensive already and yours are almost twice that price!
good idea, i will make a photo versus original cleat, i think they last longer...but i 'm using them for 3 months, i used the original for 6 months, then i begin to have involuntary release..now i want to control how long the special last :-) they are expansive i know..but we don't make 10000000000 pair of them unfortunately....
with origianl i had this problem:
if you put right cleat on the left foot you have a 17 degree if you turn in left, but if you turn your left foot on the right, in the direction of the frame and you pull the cleat release....very simple....do you ever tried? in my opinion this is very dangerous if you are brakeless.... -
hi, we made more than one pair, we sell them , here in italy for 30 euro, about 25 pounds, i think,
they are hand made so they don't have crash test or similar, but i'm using them for 2,3 monthts and i climbed "monte grappa" 27 km and going down brakeless, i post the video....48 17 fixed Monte Grappa brakeless - YouTube
they are in brass but not for fusion but cnc and i think they are stronger...in downing i feel safer, i don't use original cleat any more,
they have the same angle 17 degree more or less, right and left, and so the rear tooth is all inside the spring not only a little corner like original, the oringinal are made for mtb and so for pushing, not for pulling...like in fixed....i'm very happy you appreciate the idea, if you have any question or if you want them , write to me for everythig :-)
