After approx 10 years of collecting, building and riding retro mtbs, I've come to the point when I have to exorcise my bike cave! There is a mix of new and old road stuff in this sale, so apologise if this is against forum rules!

I've tried to be realistic with prices, but feel free to make an offer, some of these bits and bobs are hard to value. Feel free to drop me a private message if you think anything is way overpriced!

Everything below is in working condition unless stated. I've given all the parts a mark out of 10 to help indicate condition.

I'm a very reasonable guy, so if something turns up and is not to your expectations I'd be more than happy to refund your money

Paypal gift or cash on collection please. I'm located in Whitechapel / Aldgate. Everything below includes p&p.

In general I've listed things in rows from left to right. Photos here:

Not sure if this is where I should post, but in case anyone is looking for an extremely fun bike to ride around town or on fairly flat XC check out my Pace RC200 up for sale here: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/121349794165?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649

    Good spot...

I fitted them the day before the ride as I previously had the superlight pro versions which weren't giving me enough power...

By the way... That wasn't me. I doubt very much I looked so competent. My friend had a little fall which put the shits up him. He walked for a day. Alpine MTB touring is the best way to feel free...

That photo was from 2 years ago. We rode from Geneva to Turin. A real mixture of trails, a fair bit of climbing on roads and a fair bit of technical trail riding (Morzine was a nightmare), but this was by far the highlight (although quite scary, especially fully laden): Portail de Fully - YouTube

Not sure where to go next. Was thinking of another Alpine adventure in September. Would love to got to South America, but can't really afford the time or money!

Nope, a few cable ties did the trick. It was actually quite a good place for the bottle as kept the weight nicely balanced. It was where I stored backup water. Note: Swiss stream water isn't as good as it tastes!

Nope, not a big fan of lockout, tends to put excessive pressures on the fork internals and other parts of the bike. For anything off road, I took the handlebar bag off and strapped it to my backpack. Overall the bike weighted less than 15kg packed up and the weight was quite well distributed. I can't promise I smelt particularly good for two weeks!

Not strictly a rat bike, but built out of a lot of retro 90s MTB parts I found in my bike dungeon. IMHO the best looking minimalist MTB frame ever made and one of the most fun bikes to ride (pavements can be your friend on this little number. More rigid and unforgiving than a kick in the nuts
