We are an independent bike shop in fulham & pride our self on customer service & the quality of our work.We are currently looking for a Senior bicycle mechanic to join our business. If successful you will be responsible for maintaining an efficient, productive and safe workshop. You will be required to service all makes and models of bikes, including Old, New & in-between.
You will, at times, also be required to work on the shop floor to provide sales support and customer service, as well as product ordering and restocking.
Experience
1. Self-motivated and work at own initiative - pricing up jobs,maintaining consistently high standard of workmanship without supervision and work within time scales
2. Works well as part of a team
3. Gives effective ideas of how things could work more efficiently - processes, equipment requiredetc
4. Literate - must keep accurate worksheets / PDI checklists
5. Maintain a clean and tidy workshop environment
6. Excellent technical knowledge- ability to work on any type of bike to a high standard from a small puncture to a full bike build from scratch
7. Good communication skills - the ability to explain to customers the work that needs to be done in a clear and non-patronising manner and to give details of cost with accuracy
8. Good organisational skills - prioritise jobs, maintain tidy workstation, keep paperwork in order
