Even though the Dolan Forza is quite old now, is it still good track frame?
I've got one that I was going to sell (my son has stopped racing track), but I was wondering about passing it to my daughter in place of her Worx alloy frame (original version). A friend told me the Forza was still a brilliant, stiff track bike for endurance events etc, and better to keep that and sell the Worx.
I can't find any info online about how good (or bad) the Forza was?

Sorry, my mistake I only got to page 51 and not to the end of the thread. :)
I have checked the chainring bolts, but I'll double check them.
I'll take a look at the pedals. They are basic Look KEOs but are 5+ years old now I reckon. The creaking is loud but I guess the sound could travel through the cranks and through the frame.
Next time she is on the bike I'll check if its happening per rev or not. Thanks!

Resurrecting an old thread!
My daughters track bike has developed a terrible creak under load. It isn't the saddle or seat post as it happens when out of the saddle. I did think it was the BB (Miche Pistard Air), but I took everything out, cleaned, regressed and did up to the correct torque. Still happening.
Any ideas? I'm wondering about the rear wheel, and maybe that needs a check?

We purchased this last summer from another Palmer Park Velo club member, and it is in great condition.
The previous owner had switched the wheels, so the stock wheels fitted are like new. My daughter raced the 3 Southern Omniums last season, a couple of track league meets and then didn’t ride it again until January due to injury. It has only been ridden a dozen times.
The bike is as standard, apart from a slightly longer stem giving a bit more reach. It comes without pedals. Full geometry and specification can be found on the Dolan website.
The bike has U8 gearing, but you could easily switch it to U10 if you wanted.
There are a few little paint chips and a rub on a sticker (from leaning up against the grandstand side of the fence at PPV I expect!). I am looking for £300.
Collection from Reading, or you can arrange your own courier (I might be able to source a cardboard bike box).
Worx Track Bike for sale
Size medium
A fantastic Worx track bike in great condition.
The Worx frame is stiffer and transmits power better than most others — certainly a lot better than a Planet X or Dolan Pre Cursa. The stiffer the frame the more power out per pedal stroke. Plus the tube profile has been designed with aero in mind, to make those watts count going forward!
To aid the power transfer, this has a SRAM Omnium crankset
Has a set of hand built (by Rikki Pankhurst) track wheels. These have Token track hubs with Japanese bearings that just keep spinning. BOR rims, which are light but very stiff. These are clinchers and have a set of well used Conti 4000s fitted, but you could easily switch for something else.
Worx alloy track frame
Size medium
SRAM Omnium 165mm cranks
49t Miche chainring
Miche Pista Black chain
Worx alloy 35mm track bars
Exotic stem and seatpost
Hand built track wheels with Token hubs and BOR rims
Continental 4000s clincher tyres
Currently set to U16 gearing, with a 49t chainring and a 15t rear cog. I do have other other rings and cogs so might be able to switch these around if you need a different gear.
Has a set of very used Look KEO pedals included.
Has a few small marks on the frame from transport, taking on/off etc , but very consistent with age.
