Favorite shoe as of this year with foot retention, Vans Slip Ons, but they fall apart quick. My first pair outlived my second pair (bottoms fell out). I use Cons low tops for lace up stuff. Need to find a brand with a sturdier slip on but the sameish dimensions, feel, not looking for a bulky, or heavily padded, thick sole slip on.

Dang, I use to lurk bikeforums, kissena group on fb, dissensus, djhistory, hollerboard, ilx, etc., before I found this place and way before I knew about reddit. LFGSS is a great outlet. That is all.

51x22 sounds nice. I finally washed my bike properly. Not slamming deep track drops yeah. I’m just commuting lol.

I shouldn’t even be looking at huge rings with all the hills around me. I did do myself a favor and unslammed my stem and level my handlebar.

Front brake would still be nice. The close calls would be far less. Would prefer road levers and front brake. I love GP 5000s so grippy. Would def buy. These were parts bin gifts. Both in good condition when I received them. (I always forget to respond in the reply)
