NO LONGER FOR SALE ON THIS SITE
I started with a very nice condition Mixte frame, 18-23 high tensile tubing (size 20”/51cm) from a 1984 Raleigh Alpha Sport which I and have rebuilt it to a very high specification with ALL brand new parts. It is light and fast, nicely set up and a joy to ride. It weighs in at 11.9 kgs.
This bike has only been ridden for the purposes of setting it up and has covered less than 10 miles. I would love to keep it, but I love building bikes and can’t keep them all! Considerably more money has been spent on it on parts alone than my sale price of £395.

Hi Steve
Sorry we didn't come back to you yesterday. We have just finished a project to rebuild a Raleigh Alpha Sport and we would love to do another one - your frame looks just the job for us. We don't feel quite ready to start yet. When we are, we will contact you and see whether you still have it (someone else may snap it up), or then whether we can persuade you to bring it out of the loft.
Thanks Sue

Hi everyone
We have recently bought a frame which we now believe is from a Raleigh Professional Mark V 1977 which has been stripped and recently repainted. It's in very nice condition with no rust anywhere. It has non-original Cinelli chrome forks. We were about to build this is into a single speed.
Is this the wrong thing to do with this frame? Any advice would be appreciated. No other original parts came with the frame!
