thats the seat tube height, i'm talking about the top tube. Seat
    tube height doesn't really matter..

would people recommend to go slightly bigger or smaller with pomps?
I can't test ride one as no one I know has one and I can only buy online direct.

my current bike is a road bike, 51cm top tube, 120mm stem with risers.
    I'm 170mm tall.

So i'm looking at either the small or medium pomp, looking at getting a 100mm stem and running compact 42cm drops.

the small is 53.5cm and the medium 55.1..
they say to knock 3cm off conventional sizes?

If I go the small, I will have a lot of seat post and it will be a larger drop from seat - bars, this will make it more compact/faster/twitchy?

    cheers

Just to confuse matters I am 182 cm and have a large frame with a setback of 25 mm on the seatpost and a +6 degree 110 mm stem with drops. A lot will depend on your arm and leg dimensions as well. I've forgotten my leg length but my jeans have a 32 in leg.

Ideally you would try one. I didn't have that advantage, not knowing anyone with a Pompino or an On-One bike/frame for that matter, but was lucky with the size.

I assume On-One's return policy wouldn't allow exchange of frames that had been built up.

hmmm well atm i'm riding a road bike set up with risers and a cargo tray. 52cm square frame, 120mm stem, thomson set back post. rides in quite an upright position. before the risers I had 1 110mm stem and drops, felt a lot more bent over, racey etc.

on-one says the small is a 535mm top tube and medium 551.. going from what i've ridden I'd leaning towards the small?
also judging by the top tube angle the pomp is meant to be ridden with a lot of seat post?

i'm guessing if i get the small I will be on the larger end but it will be quite fun to ride? hopefully...?

I haven't checked the 2014 geo against the old monostay design, but if they're similar I'd go Small if I were you.
I'm 5'11" (180cm) and the Medium is ideal for me with an inline post and 100mm stem.
I imagine the TT would be a bit high for me if I were around 5'7".

cheers, yeah thats what I'm thinking. think i'd rather go on the smaller size and have a slightly more nippy bike then something too big and sluggish..

are the measurements for the medium correct on the on-one site?
I'm 170cm and in between small and medium..
I'm going to be running drops so might go small as drops will add extra reach..

Is the Bontrager Race Lite CX Fork a worthwhile upgrade for the new 2014 pomp frameset or a waste of money?
