BLB Royal freewheel as quoted above is the only one I found - there may be others but the quality is good and I will stick with them.

No probs so far from a years commuting on them apart from a couple of loose spokes so keep an eye on them. Very stiff wheels.

Pony, I'm having a real hard time finding a website that will ship the BLB Royal freewheel to the USA. Ahh! Could you maybe point me in the right direction? Looking for a 16-tooth 120 click if possible, but will also take 60 click.

Thank you for your time. :)

The higher the number the faster engagement when you start to pedal.

    I'm running a 48x17.

Thank you so much for answering all my questions. I really do appreciate it.

The BLB Royal freewheel comes in 30, 60, and 120 clicks?

Whats the difference between them? I was going to pick the 16 tooth if that matters, making my set up a 48x16.

    Thanks.

Awesome, thank you so much man. If it wasn't for your post I wouldn't of found the right freewheel.

Have a good one and thanks again.

Whoops least you have the threads on other side still.

These fit and are decent quality: http://bricklanebikes.co.uk/posts/393

Pony, I'm have the exact same problem you had. I just found out that my shimano freewheel won't fit on my Mavic Ellipses properly! Ahhhh! =(

It looks like you've been finding the proper kind of freewheels to use on the Ellipses. What's the best fitting freewheel that you've found to run on them?

Oh and by the way, how do you like the Ellipses? Pretty durable for street use? I wanted something solid for the track and road, so I hope I made a good choice.

    Thank you for your time.
