For Sale my Custom Built Trek ALR 54cm (1600g Frame and fork) Road Bike
Built then never ridden! (baby arrival, house move and 3 other bikes = reluctant sale)
Frameset purchased for £700 from M Steel’s my local approved Trek dealer. Custom built using high end lightweight parts to a far superior spec than is available off the shelf. No short cuts, Total cost in the region of £2170.
Lighter and stiffer than many a 3-4k off the shelf bike.
Sub 7kg (approx 6.85kg in current spec according to my sales) was the lightest alloy bike they could remember. It caused a stir and inspired several similar builds by other customers. I’m a fan of 28mm’s but smaller lighter tires would save more weight. UCI compliant so race ready if required.
