Hi all New to the site, but already loving what I have read and seen so far.

Now I am building myself a Single speed,GT Arnett and am in need of some Bits.
I am after a 42t X 110bcd 5 arm Chainring to fit my Sugino gt.
I am also after a Bottom Bracket for the Above, Info says 121.5mm-124mm.
    Alloy drop bars with levers
    set of Mini V brakes
    Rear tensioner
sprocket spacers or complete with sprockets.
I am on a bit of a tight budget,so if it is high end stuff, I would not want to waste your time if that makes sense.this is my first SS build so a bit of a trial and error project.

Look forward to hearing from anyone that might have bits.
( added some pics incase anyone was interested, Normal V brakes tried but to long, and unsure about the Butterfly bars,Hence the request for drops).

I stripped the frame after purchasing it as a complete bike but found Seatpost seized rigid,so decided to strip completely and Caustic the post out. then Stained/dyed the steel and then used Plastikote Metal sealer.

    Cheers Ric

I also Forgot to Put, If anyone has the dreaded Stuck seat post. although dangerous B&Q concentrated Caustic really works. (I do not work for B&Q just live in rural Norfolk not loads of shops).

Newbie here but I put my pennies worth in, I have used B&Q paint stripper with pretty good results, I found wrapping with cling film helps stripper work and not dry out.

Also Brilo pads are great and I have used scotch cloth in bodyshop for ages and use that on alloy parts all the time.

Lovely Frame, wish you the best with build, I am building a GT at present into a Singlespeed, what fun but can be a head scratcher at times, but enjoy.

New member to site, But fantastic Thread. I am a old metal worker, and you have some really great Mitre joints there, keep up the great stuff and updating progress.
