  There are square tapper axles for sale. I've considered this option for a minute but bought cartridge BB in the end. It's easier and cheaper.

  It's nothing special really. Budget conversion. But I will snap it next time.

  Just in case someone has same question. Finished converting my bike yesterday and had first ride on it.
  Had to grind of mounting points of third chainring. Bought a 103mm BB (needed one anyway because of cottered original crankset). Also took rear wheel to LBS for re-dishing. That's it, got near perfect chainline.
  Learned the basics about bikes in progress. Totally disassembled the bike myself for sandblasting/powdearcoating and re-assembled it. Everything about bikes seems a lot less daunting now.

  Anyone noticed good deals for handlebar grips (22.2)? Low or no flange.

  Managed to lose one lock-ring from new grips while transporting bike to LBS for wheel re-dishing. At least those weren't expensive grips :(

  Ordered Bontrager reCharger pump after noticing that Icetoolz, Revolution and some other identical pumps made by same OEM now have single head instead of double in previous revisions.
  Had a better look at it yesterday and I must say that I'm happy with my choice. Feels like quality product to me. Love it's double head.

  Can anyone recognize which Ofmega cranks are these? Are they any good?
  Sorry for crappy photo (wasn't me).

  

  EDIT: found an old Ebay listing for same Ofmega crankset: http://goo.gl/2tQYk1 . No model and info though. At least photos are better.
  Is it just me or it's partially steel?

  I've had one of these for a few years now and it's been totally solid. Plus they sell rebuild kits for when/if the connector fails.

  Not sure how accurate the pressure gauge is but I haven't exploded anything yet.

  Funny but that Revolution pump looks identical to IceToolz one as well :)
