The rims are silver, It could be a trick of the eye as the rim tape is yellow or maybe the reflection from the gravel....

Hi all, now surpus to requirements are my wheelset from my spare bike, which has now reluctantly been parted out. Was going to keep these as they really are a lovely understated looking wheelset with loads of life left in them however I have no use for them at the moment and maybe someone else does.
They are 1995 Campagnolo Athena 8sp hubs (same as Chorus just without the grease port iirc) laced with 32 DT DB spokes to Mavic Open Pro clinchers.
The hubs roll super smooth and the rims run true, Excellent freehub, Good spoke tension and little sign of wear to the rim sidewall.
Included in the sale is the 8 speed Campagnolo cassette.
