Sorry to hear, will try to keep an eye out.

But would this be the first documented failing of a Fagh in "normal" use i.e. when the thieves can't take the bike away/use power tools?

Any chance that what it was locked to was interfered with/faulty?

In hindsight, leaving a £800 bike for 10 hrs was probably a big mistake. If they had a cordless angle grinder doing 30s every 45minutes, it would be fairly discreet and all add up enough to break the Fagh. The armoured cable they could come back for with bolt cutters.

It sounds unrealistic for broad daylight but Kings Cross security admittedly said that they didn't have anyone patrolling that area at the time because they mainly hang around the car park in the daytime. I guess they're more bothered about earning cash from ticketing cars than they are concerned about actual security of locked bikes.

Wife's 2005 Scott Speedster S4 27 speed stolen from outside Kings Cross Station at their Pancras Rd bike racks in front of CCTV on Thurs between 730am and 530pm. CCTV was pointing in other direction during the day!

Locked frame and wheels with Kryptonite Fagheddaboutit and Kryptonite cable. Apparently Kings Cross Estate have their own security service during the day so really not sure how it was stolen!

As stock image and in excellent condition despite being 2006 model. Only distinguishing feature are Wellgo standard plastic pedals.
