Green Genesis Flyer frame and white carbon fork in immaculate condition. Owned by me from new. Reynolds 520 with track ends and screws. Includes white Genesis 110mm stem, drop bar and saddle, 1-1/8 Cane Creek headset and seat clamp. Would make a good winter bike with p-clips and 'guards (there is comfortable room).

OK, I've been to-ing and fro-ing over this for the last month, but its time to bite the bullet and sell my Roberts Master Pro frame and fork.
It was built for me in September 1996 from lugged Reynolds 853 and rides as well now as it's ever done, really agile and responsive, a point and get there quick kind of ride. The dropouts are Ritchey, the bottom bracket English 68, and there's a braze on for the front mech. The fork has a 1 inch threaded steerer and sloped crown. All in all its in immaculate condition, finished in a kind of Italian blue and with only very slight marks to one or two of the decals and at the contact points. Its never been thumped, dinged or otherwise mistreated and when not being ridden has spent its entire life indoors. I don't think I even rode it in the wet.
The measurements (the important ones) are: seat tube 59cm centre to centre, top tube 58.5cm centre to centre. The head tube is 180mm. The seat bolt is a Campy and the frame takes a 27.2 post.
The price is £650. I'm in Somerset but get down to London fairly regularly, so I can do a meet up if anyone needs it.
Note – its the frame and fork only - the headset and bb in the pics are not included.
Thanks all.

Hi. Has anyone had experience of the Genesis Flyer AND Surly's Steamroller? I've got a Flyer and like it well enough, but I'm wondering if the Steamroller might not be a better choice. I like the look of the 'Roller and Surly's approach in general, but if I make the jump will the Steamroller's ride measure up to the Flyer's, which is honestly pretty good? Discovering which is the 'best' bike is obviously a very personal thing, but I would be interested to hear from those who have experience of both/either, or anyone with an opinion (it all helps). Thanks.
