Looking for a fork for a Plug, no idea how to measure what i'm in terms of spec to fit for but if you've got anything that might suitable let me know what to measure/look for please....

Going to get my Plug powder coated soon and thought about putting a new fork on before I do. Given it's a pretty heavy, workmanlike frame and I don't want to spend much more than a ton would there be much benefit in doing this or am I polishing a turd?
Been looking at something like Surly Steamroller, or maybe one of the BLB forks. Would they be worthwhile?
Just a charge plug, brown leather saddle and bars so think that would look pretty old school
I asked them over the phone about doing a Mazzer grinder before Christmas and guy the was pretty awkward, so much so I just went elsewhere. Ended up just getting it sprayed, really happy with it.
