Yeah I got stopped at around 5pm because my front light was too dim. Wasn't even dark yet, but they let me off with a ticket but no fine. Pretty glad I guess.

Felt like there was a really strong police presence all over london tonight to be honest..

This happened to me a few times last year before my move to the city. Luckily now I have my Surly with nobblies on for the winter. Should lower the chances a little...

Indra, just read about you ordeal, did you manage to take the driver to court?

My only bike currently. Another build is in the mix, but the Surly will always be hanging around...

    ...looking menacing

Didn't really get hit by the wind too bad. First thing in the morning was a little bit intense.

Saw someone going down Canon St./ Fleet St. shouting at pedestrians around mid-day. Looked fun!

I'm currently on the verge of starting a new project and really love the look of the 2012 Tokyo Fixed Dart frame (and forks if available). I went into Kinoko but unfortunately the only 53 cm frame was currently used in a shop-build that they wouldn't be able to sell. There's only 1 55cm frame left aside from that (which is too large for me).

If this fails though I'm also in the market for a nice V2. Seen as though it's only been out a few weeks though, I don't have very high hopes for this :)

So if anyone has a dart (or knows where to find one) that's in good condition, or if you have suggestions of similar frames, let me know.

I dunno, think that's a bit of a bold claim. Although in my case it certainly is true! There's certainly no point in spending any money on a shit lock. Go big or go home as they say...

Just to create a bit of a reoccurring theme, mine was a cable lock. Once again, until it actually happens you don't realise how useless they are. Mine was a pretty big one, but still must have been pretty easy to cut. Mine was an Abus one that I've had for about 4 years back up North.

got my H Plus Son TB14's wheels robbed this afternoon, outside a natwest, across from new scotland yard...unfuckinbelievable. They have BLB black mamba tyres with amber wall on them; these are near impossible to take off the rims as I've snapped many a tyre lever...also BLB front and rear hubs. What I'm trying to say is that the little prick will sell as stole...if anyone comes across these...stranger things have happened! worst of all, I'm on that bastard tube until I get the finds to replace the wheels....

Firstly this is same person as about HR - just entered the wrong username. Nice one. Anyway, round there is really bad for bike thefts. Last week a lady who works at the opticians had her bike nicked, broad day light outside the bank. Really gotta watch your bike there. I've just started working on the Strutton Ground Market on the specialist coffee cart (it's the market next to Natwest), I'll try to ask around and see if anyone's got any wheels for sale. The other day some guy came up to me asking if i wanted to buy some champagne, so who knows, maybe wheels soon!
