Been looking for 'one bike to do everything' after downsizing from 3 bikes to 1.
I was going to do a Waltly Ti build but they didn't reply to my emails after 3 weeks, so I did some extreme man maths and picked this up custom Croix de Fer Ti for a good price.
It's been great fun in gravel + road modes so far. Massive faff fitting the guards but done now.
Ultegra groupset with a dura-ace crankset (which is complete overkill for my needs so might swap that out. )

I found the limit of n+1 bikes and it's time for this to go
Bought 18 months ago from Partridge Cycles in Exeter. It's this model from 2013 @ $6900 new.
https://www.giant-bicycles.com/us/defy-advanced-sl-0-2013
Giant frame, fork and stem, Giant PSLR wheelset and DuraAce groupset.
Size M I believe, with seat post cut so it's 74-76cm (spacers) from BB to Saddle Rails. In case I've cocked up the measurements, I'm 6ft1 with long legs and it's slightly too small for me, hence the sale.
They had it kicking about in a box in a warehouse so was new when I bought it. It's by far the fastest, stiffest bike I've ridden. I've done two 80 miles rides on it, and that's it.
Fee free to come see bike at my office near old street - looking for £1400.

The seller was great. Bike shed with tools all lined up on hooks and obsessive on the details - exactly what you want to see when picking up a pricey used bike.
Not ridden a steel one but this doesn't feel too ponderous. I imagine the carbon fork helps a lot.
Stiff under power then floats along at speed. Feel like I could ride it for hours. The fork is def gravel centric with massive clearance - to the point that the 30mm max guards look a bit silly from the front - but that's just for winter. I'll run 32mm GP5000 in summer I think.
