Hi All, two condor bikes stolen from Trimetals "Protect-a-cycle" shed in West Dulwich SE21 last Weds.
Black 2010 Condor Italia - SRAM Rival, grey condor bar-tape, Black fizik arione saddle, Mavic Aksium wheels and Conti Gatorskins. large frame
Grey 2012 Condor Tempo - Brown bar tape, Fizik Arione with brown stripe saddle, Miche Condor wheels, Specialized black armadillo tyres, Condor Poggia mudguards, Hamax seat bracket. 61cm frame.
Shed opened by thieves using bolt-cutter to destroy hasps, locks rendered useless. Police said they'd seen the same MO on 4 sheds recently.
Hi
The police have recovered my bikes! Had a call last week from Condor cycles as Police had been in touch with them and they had my details against the frame numbers(not sure why they didn't check bikeregister, immobilise where they are both reported stolen).
Eventually found out today they have them at Kennington Police station and recovered them day after they were stolen when executing a warrant at an address.I'm going tmrw to pick them up and am really relieved to get them back. Police said they recovered about 8 bikes at the address so I'll try and see what else they have in case I recognise them from the boards.

anyone missing those? -
Send photos of the damage to the idiots that made the claims below. Then ask for your money back on both the container and your bikes.
Police preferred specification
Protect a Cycle is the first and only secure bicycle store that has achieved the Secured by Design mark - the Police Preferred Specification.Loss prevention certification board
Protect a Cycle has passed the Loss Prevention Certification Board LPS1175: Issue 6 testing, achieving a Security Rating 1.
Certificate Number : 899aContacted Trimetals and they admitted they have re-designed the hasps("in the last month or so"). They've made them double thickness and much more secure.
They sent me out some replacements, shame they didn't contact existing customers if they knew these were being exploited. -

Hi, just collected the bikes. They were in the yard at Kennington Police station and some bits missing/swapped and cosmetic damage etc.
They have about 50 recovered bikes there all piled up. Didn't recognise anything from the boards but didn't get to have a good look either.
Apparently they found them in a house Brixton/Camberwell borders and the guy they arrested is on bail till July so hopefully the link between my burglary and the bikes will be enough to get one bike thief off the streets for a short period.
