I tried finding my drawings to show the process but couldnt find them right now. I modelled the whole bike in 3D and could then print templates to glue on the square tube that the headtubes go through. Then it was just to drill and file the oval shaped holes until the tubes went through and looked sort of straight.

Just thought i would share a project that’s nearly done since Im lurking here alot but never give anything back. I badly wanted a cargo bike, havent got a deivers license but two kids and offten find myself in need of transporting material for random builds. Since we live in a flat a long john style bike would be hard to store so I was longing for a Omnium mini max, but jeeez they are not cheap. So i got myself a old mtb frame, no stickers or anything but for the tube sticker wich was tange plain gauge. Perfect for a non pro welder to hack with. Billenky cargo bikes have made something very similar and it semmed like the easiset way to go from 26” mtb to a omnium mini max knock of.
So after a bit of drawing i had measuremts and templates to help me with holes and angles.
I found the fork at a local cargo bike builder thats now out of business unfortunatly. -
