DCR built these wheels for my 2 year trip and when I returned he gave them a service of some sort as all his wheels have a lifetime warranty. Ask him what he can do, he's a nice chap and I've had 4 trouble free sets of wheels from him.

The sale is for a pair of 26 inch silver Rigida Sputnik rims with silver Sapim spokes on a silver Son 28 front hub and a silver Deore XT rear hub. The wheels were originally built by DCR Wheels in Sussex and the first rims lasted about 20,000km. The hubs then had a service at DCR and 2 years ago I had the rims and spokes replaced by Future Cycles, Lewes. They have only done about 2000km since. Super tough rim brake wheels suitable for fully loaded touring.
Would go well with the Surly LHT frameset I'm also selling on here.
I'd like £200 for both wheels preferably with local collection from Brighton or meet somewhere mutually convenient like Clapham Junction.

For sale is my battered Surly Long Haul Trucker frame in Smogalicious Grey, size 56cm and for 26 inch wheels. This beast has seen me through many adventures but I've just bought a Surly Troll for something different. The paint is trashed as you can see but it'll make a good town / commuter / mountain / expedition / do everything bike and getting the frame painted won't cost the earth. The right fork has had a new braze-on installed by a frame builder after someone in Armenia tried to be helpful and drilled out the previous one. It comes with a Velo Orange headset that could probably do with greasing.
I've got some suitable hardcore touring wheels for sale too (Rigida Sputnik rims, SON dynamo / XT hubs).
£150 ono with collection from Brighton if possible or meet at Clapham Junction or somewhere mutually convenient
