I'll dive into the system and sort it out now. Probably not many places have these at the mo!

Hi David, I was wondering if it is possible to buy single Dura Ace lockrings because it states a minimum order of 10 is required

Thanks. Dia Compe we can do right away if thats the route we take, Cobra might need a little delving into the previous arrangements.

Think they did Dia Compe then moved into Cobra?

Will you still be stocking LeVeL hubs?
    /does anywhere have them still?

I expect to import a few early in the new year. Hubjub has always been close to Scott at LeVeL and I am in discussions to re-establish and expand upon this partnership.

Hi Velicio, you clearly know your stuff and we are in process of acting upon all your comments. Usually our dev can do the difficult right away with the impossible taking a little longer, but him and his wife are expecting another addition to the family today so I feel obliged give him a few hours off!

    Drop shadows not done, search in the CSS for: text-shadow: -1px -1px 2px #777777;

    Nor category images.

Some of it is done though... I won't go through it all, it looks nice, it will look nicer in time I have no doubt.

Thanks Velocio for taking the time to put down your observations. Whilst my dev was not in on Friday he has had a bit of a play and actually picked most of the low hanging fruit from the list.

TODO List for your web dev:

    1) / should use a 301 redirect to /store and not a meta-refresh header

    DONE

    2) Logo should link back to /store

    DONE

    3) The payment and shipping logos in the top right add nothing except to make the site look cheap, remove them.

    DONE

    4) Move the search into the header, top right

    DONE

    5) Move the currency into the footer... it's seldom used, people will only ever change it once

    DONE

    6) Remove CSS drop-shadow effect... I thought my screen was dirty and it didn't help me read the text

Will ammend upon Drew's return (from paternity)

    7) Revisit the left side brand|category navigation... it's crazy. Better as an Accordion menu if you really want to do this: http://www.menucool.com/vertical/accordion-menu-css

We are looking at an awesome slider menu

    8) Category page should include category images

Will ammend upon Drew's return (from paternity)

    9) The

Thanks for the kind response. We aim to sort both those bugs - as Upstart knows spelling matters - and jpb we knew people expect the logo to return to home but have not worked out how to set that up in the template. The webmaster is off on paternity now, but on the flip side, might have lots of sleepless nights to chip away at it :)

Allow me to introduce myself, in this my first LFGSS post, as the the new owner of Hubjub. I hope that, as the new custodians of Hubjub, we remain approachable and continue to be of service to the fixed and single speed community.

Whilst Hubjub has been trading for the last few months, we have been quiet, with our heads down and grafting hard, but now the work is starting to pay off. I can announce we have finished a total redevelopment of the Hubjub site. This new site coincides with our re-stocking of the Phil Wood range.

Moving to a new system has altered the appearance, which we understand will bring mixed feelings with a site as beloved of its users as Hubjub (and yes, we were fans!). It had to change: Drew the webmaster was managing okay but the whole show was hand coded and keeping on top of broken links was almost a full time job. We have worked hard to keep the charm and character of Hubjub as best we can. The new system will hopefully free us to focus on rebuilding the catalogue and writing those descriptions people actually like to read. The new design makes it easy to add new brands or products, so we can experiment with new products, and catalogue more of the stuff Hubjub has always done off-list.

Notwithstanding our aim to have a more comprehensive catalogue of the best stuff we can find, along with occasional curveball products, we aim to continue fulfilling special orders. We might be out of the way here in Llandrindod but we share our town with the National Cycle Collection, so if there is a vintage part you can't identify or find spares for, maybe we can help! In the meantime we value your thoughts on the new site and, in turn, I look forward to participating on these forums more!

    Best,
    David
