Oh I gave up on the sale here ages ago. I thought a classified page would be for putting things up for sale and people would either show interest of not.

Rather naively, I did not expect out to act as a lightning rod for a collection of lonely, middle aged white men who will literally comment on anything from insects, aeroplanes and horology. People need to feel good about themselves, I do get it... and trolling is the safe way to feel big before going up to a lonely bed with a wife or husband who now resents them.

Anyway, I'll finish by doing a big old price drop. The cost now is just a cuddle mainly because I think people like El Presidente and DamselDonny really need one.

Another man who's had a busy day (judging by his activity on just one forum). Sigh...

Well you can't have Dumb without Dumber. Welcome to the chat!

I suppose you've honed your zooming in talents or those Friday night snap chats...

And there he is... the Suffolk's finest has arrived (presumably just finished watching the Cliff Richard documentary on Netflix and thought 'phew'). Bravo 👏

Look lovey, you're obviously one of those lonely types who likes a chat.

But I posted this not as a lonely hearts ad. I understand if you don't want to buy it... the beauty of internet forums is that you may consume and, if it's not for you, move on.

The bottom line is that the bike is for sale and is a solid ride. The frame is a little ugly but is from excellent stock. The wheels are decent. The rear mech is new. I put a price on with this in mind alongside the original value of the frame.

I mentioned I was open to offers. I did not mention I was open to fluffing strange grown men who like to argue with people they haven't met in the classifieds...

Well, my beaky little mustard lover, if you can get better for your money I'd invite you to do so.

As mentioned, I got the carbon repaired by one of the top framebuilders in the UK. There was no crash, just some nicks I didn't like.

The wheels themselves were £750 and in pretty good condition, rear derailleur only few months old, hydraulic discs. It's a good bike, just a little ugly. I guess it might be the two wheeled version of you?

Very sad to be parting with the bike that got me loving my riding again. It's a beautiful machine for endurance and climbing. Comfortable enough to sit on for hours and handles the biggest mountains Europe can offer with ease.

Comes with Ritchey OCR disc wheels and a new ultegra rear mech. The rest I'll ne switching back to the original Shimano 105 though.

It's a bit scruffy and had a scrape which was repaired by the mighty framebuilder Tsubasa 5 years ago which came with his guarantee. Since then it's bombed down Tourmalet at 70kph so there's full confidence.

Anyway, cost is £925 ono which, given the crap Evans pedals out for £1k is a bloody bargain IMHO! Hit me up. Cheers
