Most definitely - I do so enjoy driving my car in off-duty bus lanes. They are usually empty as most other car drivers don't seem to be able to read the restriction boards.
Evil B'tard ones in central Twickenham are 24hr though - and under CCTV control.

And the Thames at Twickenham. Loadsa dead leaves and duck ship that the tide has flowed in over and lots of cars driven across and flattened into a slippy thing.

Indeedy - Round my part of town we're not overburdened with night bus services at 3am but raising income by taxing the stupid is fine by me.
