Guys - had to agree to sell the Olmo Scatto (that I've posted on this thread) to make way for new carbon bike - grr!
It's going up on eBay Sept '13 sometime - probably broken up. If anyone is interested, drop me a line asap. Happy to sell whole bike or frame only. Decent offers please!
Collection from Farnborough, Hants. Might be able to meet partway etc.
@Sam - fancy another Scatto to add to your collection :-)

Thanks! You're right about the transfers, the originals were the newer type - white with gold. 1990-1994 is my guess on age of the frame - given it's "SLX New" tubing and had downtube gear tensioners rather than the downtube shifters I've fitted. Rear spacing is 130mm, suggesting later I guess. I'd be interested if anyone had any dates for "SLX New" tubing?
If you really need the original decals, Greg at Cyclomondo could make them. He did the scatto decal from scratch for me (from a photo) at a great price and in next to no time!
All the best!

First post guys!
You'll hopefully see attached my restored Olmo Scatto. Haven't slaved to authenticity - just built it how I'd like it!
I ignored all web-based advice & sprayed it myself - never again (it's hard & expensive). Greg at Cyclemondo did a great job providing the decals (not exact period for the frame, but I'm happy) and even produced the "scatto" decal from scratch.
Will produce better photos when it gets warmer/brighter - may even sweep the floor outside as well!
Hope this is of interest. Cheers
No worries Sam. I've a "pink" Eddy Merckx, much to the amusement of my kids!
Pics of my Olmo Scatto are now online if anyone fancies a nose...http://www.flickr.com/photos/61748329@N08/sets/72157635502077406/
I'll stick the bike on eBay soon when I get around to it - her indoors hasn't forgotten my agreement to sell it!
