  Last year I got in around 37 hours and was at the tail end of the main pack so yes, 35 hours is a pretty good time.

  Yes people usually sleep. The problem for some is that the controls kind of sit at the wrong places. The first visit to the YHA is at 220km, way to early for sleeping off a 6am start. At 300k you're at Menai Bridge. A little nap would be handy to get you back to the YHA but mostly it'll be too early to sleep in a busy, well lit hall. The drag back to the YHA gets you there around 400k, 50k beyond the ideal sleep stop by my reckoning. It's a bit of a drag over Trawsfynydd to get you back there and the more tired you are, the slower you go. Unless you're fairly quick, you'll then likely get caught up in the bottleneck for sleeping spots and that causes delays unless you can stomach the common room.
  Not always the best set up for the haul up Cross Foxes and the lumps to Aberhafesp, although they will have beds there as well if you want to break up your sleeping.

  Dam that highland ride is intense, would be amazing though. What's a good time to do the brain chapman ride in...35 hours? Do people normally sleep? I'm not sure how much longer I could have functioned longer than 24 with no sleep.

  I ride regents park quite alot but would be good to ride with a group. I am going to come tomorrow after work to join for a ride, are gears welcome? and for 7pm?

  Hello guys, has anyone got a ride planned in the next 6 months thats 600km? Im up for trying it or giving it a go. Just finished a 300 miles and want to see if I can go further!?
