Yeah . I'm signed up till dec 15. I'm unable to ride anymore audaxes this year although if I can get time off work the aaa infractions is tempting me. I have signed up for the poor student in January. 200 km into the Cotswolds in January.

Yeah . That head of the river pub in Oxford. £4-20 for a pint of local Oxford beer. Great route. I've joined audax uk now and will have to grow a massive beard.

Did the straight outa Hackney yesterday. Rode to the start so a grand total of 154 miles . Breakfast was provided and a bbq at the end. Some very nice beer was supplied. Apart from the very heavy rain in hartfortshire and the headwind it was a pleasant enough ride. I rode the first part fixed . My knees hurt.

Just noticed that audax club hackney have another steam ride in september. The other way round this time.

140 miles today. Did the boat ride audax route in reverse up to that nice pub/ museum in northampton shire. Followed the same audax route back to quanton in oxfordshire. Jumped on the steam ride route from there on. Nice day out. No massive hills. Some poor road surfaces in oxfordshire.sunburt now in garden with beers

My next audax will be the straight outa Hackney event in August .
I did the upper Thames audax yesterday. Got dark quickly. Nice route. Food at the finish and a pub with good beer and an open fire. Was a bit windy toward the end .
