as it is a new bike the chain has a good covering of grease/oil on it already from the factory. from what i have read on other threads i believe this is good quality stuff not to be messed with.

hi i am very new to all of this, bought myself a gran royale creeper as a start up/ learn to customise sort of project.. anyway quick question, the chain is bloody loud, worse when pedaling hard! annoyingly so!!! how long to bed-in before i start messing with tension, chainring centering, chainline etc and pulling hair out..i've only had the bike a week and it came set up from crc who i have more faith in than myself......
thanks for the help. i put a little bit of chain oil on it and loosened the chain a fraction, still not totally silent but i'll give it a week and see what happens, definitely a big improvement already, cheers..
