  Thanks Butters! I find the gear fine, i went on a 20ish mile ride when i got it and the gear didn't bother me at all.

  Thanks! Yes I do, and I think I'm going to stick with freewheel. My rear cog is 15t and I can only find 16t available to buy?

  So i just got my 2012 Langster and i was looking at questions about converting it to freewheel and someone answered:

  just buy a shimano freewheel and fix it on the original hub. this freewheel sprockets attach with a lock ring so they can be mounted on a Fixed/fixed hub.
  i've done this mod on my 2012 langster

  I don't really understand that so I Googled shimano freewheel and is this all i need to make it freewheel on the standard fixed/fixed rear rim?

  Hi all i'm new to the forum and i have just purchased my first fixed gear cycle which is a Specialized Langster from Evans. I'm from London and have just had my hybrid nicked but i was eventually going to get a fixie sooner or later. Wanted to make a topic asking for recommendations on a flat/riser bar for my new bike but i have to make 3 posts first! :)
