After I bought my new road bike my old one didn´t get much use. So I decided a few weeks ago to convert my old bike, also a 1984 Raleigh Panasonic Aerospace, to a fixed gear bike to use as a commuter. I´m still in the process of stripping and cleaning the bike but I will add pics when I start building it up.
Hi all. I started getting into fixed gear when I bought a new roadbike. My old one got a bit obsolete but I rode it for 8 years so I didn't want to sell it. I started thinking about using it as my everyday bike, I had read about fixed gear bikes and thought it would be nice to build one using my 1984 Raleigh Panasonic. I joined this forum to learn and show my project.
