This may be a stupid question-even dumb questions sometimes need to be asked :)
If a frame is being sandblasted do I have to peel off stickers (there is a lot on there) or will the sandblasting just take them off?
I am thinking the possibility exists that the stickers will require so much concentration of the sandblasting to remove them that it might damage the frame.

Yes you could place the brakes higher up on your bars, I personally think the higher this is the worse it looks asthetically but you are looking for functionality, a shorter stem will also mean you dont have to reach as far to rest on the hoods. As someone else pointed out compact or different shaped drops might help make you more comfortable on the drops and hoods. Without visiting a bike fitting specialist it will be trial and error I am afraid.

I am looking for a new set of pedals with clips and cages preferrably as a package for a road bike which I use for short jaunts to the shops and on short rides to about 25miles. Was wondering if anyone had any recommedendations? As cheap as possible (£40-50 absolute max)
I am a UK9 if that makes a difference to the recommendation of the cages.

As a "stickeur" i must advice you to stay away from sticker books or kits like that.. You can/should only use stickers that comes with parts you buy or from stores you buy stuff from. Skate or band stickers are allways okay, fixie bike blogs that sell stickers are sort of ok but should be peeled of a soon as you get better ones. Supreme sticker should be avoided, you can't even put on a ironic supreme sticker anymore.
Further more you can't really sticker bomb a whole bike, It will only look like your'e trying to hard.
You should start with lets say the seat tube and cover it and then move on as you get more stickers. Ideally some stickers should look fresh and some almost worn of by wear and tear..(Oh!My 2000 page book about how to sticker a bike is in the book stores now!)
Do you have any pics of your projects or any good examples? I am currently stickering a bike as I couldn't live with a tribal design which was painted on the frame (as standard).

i am not talking to anyone who has less than ten posts
And yet you chose to quote the person you are 'not talking to' in a reply...brains to burn.
While idiots use the internet to measure their status in post counts and invest time in becoming cyber warriors - the guy in the photo probably made a million, hired a few thousand staff to run his production and another thousand to run his call centre and tech support.....oh and used a tiny portion of the profit to buy a bike.
What height are you? Wondering on frame size.
