Long term lurker on here, but the Photographic Darkroom I am a member of is running an event that I thought may be of interest to some of you so heres the details:
Join the Gate Darkroom for a Sunday Jaunt along the Thames.
Encounter the unpredictable world of pin hole photography and help us to map the route between our old home in New Cross and our new location at Thames side studios SE18.This event is being run as part of Urban Photofest. Entrance is £10 and gets you a Pinhole Can Camera, suggested route map including stops points to change the photographic paper in your can. and advice from darkroom members along the way.
Meet at the Gate darkrooms group show No Maps for what we Know, get your camera along with an introduction to how to use it and a guide to exposures finish at the The Darkroom where you can develop your images adding some to our Photomap.
Although I can vouch that this is a lovely cycling route that includes some intresting watering holes, you are welcome to travel by whatever means you wish. The suggested route is around 7miles with a lot on the Thames side path it does take in some road riding but this could be walked if you were making it a family event.
Booking is reccomended as places are limited and can be found here: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/home-from-home-photo-map-riverside-walk-cycle-bus-fly-pogo-tickets-39238765203
