This is a friend of mine, they were on a charity Bmx ride as we do a few times a year. He's critical in hospital. Please send strength to Dan.

I’m selling my (what I believe to be) 1974 Raleigh Europa to help fund a new charge.
I’ve been told it has crespie? lugs and is regular steel not cromo or Reynolds and could date from 1968-74. I found a catalogue from 74 with this spec so I’m guessing that the one.
I had it stripped and powder coated (badly but effectively). It is a 21" frame with 1" forks.
It’s got 700c wheels with a flip-flop rear running a fixed 16t and a freewheel 16t (its on freewheel at the mo)
    The tyres are shwable blizzard.
Shimano bb with a Deore mt-60 crank (the smaller ring on the pic is in place to give the correct spacing and additional support to the Deore 46t main ring, and no you cant "take the chain off by hand and put it on the small ring". ive been ask that so many times  )
The stem is the original gb and some nos cut down Ritchey forcelite bars.
The headset is a mix of new bottom set and original top set (because of the fork threads are different, new bearings top and bottom)
Original steel post (free moving) and a Vetta turbo saddle in fair nick.
Brakes are original Wienmann centre pulls with generic levers and new cables.
I use the bike every day for commuting and it rides well. when it was stripped it was cleaned of any surface rust before powder coating.
I can also include all the original bits like the chainset, rear mech (shimano skylark) campag shifter, drop bars, wienmann levers, pedals, b/b axle, cups and cotter pins, rest of the headset. but to be honest they have seen far better days (well the chainset has but the rest of it is ok)
£100 collected or £120 posted via p2g but would prefer collection as i have no viable means of getting a box to box it up due to selling my car!

No, I also thought this and made sure they were ok-thanks to RTI the usual and favoured tightness on the strap has a notch so it naturally stops in the same place.

I'm actually wondering now that you've mentioned this whether it might be all the mozzy bites round my ankles that are fucking up blood flow... hmm.

pins and needles/numbness can be caused by subconsciously scrunching up your toes in the shoes (especially when grinding). most people dont even realise that they are doing it. try splaying your toes in the shoe and make sure the axle of the pedal is directly below the ball of your foot.

Most businesses are this way. In a price driven market it's either this or bust.

kind of like mcdonalds offering the 'healthy option' because they care about your wellbeing
