and of course as mentioned before, stretching is huge.. and not just when your legs are feeling jacked. glutes and more importantly periformus, which is just deep to glutes- sciatic nerve runs straight through this muscle, not a good area to get problems in. Quads, IT, and Hams... remember to hold the stretches for 30second minimum! The more blood flow to the legs, the faster our bodies can repair injuries in this area. Not to mention - all of this will improve your cycling!!!

I am in N10 1GJ.. up by Muswell Hill, I am looking for a 50cm-52cm. 200-250max budget. I like both vintage conversions and newer frames, whatever I find first for under 250. thank you guys for your help. Found a solid lookin langster on gumtree but it sold before I could get there. Checked out Full Cycle yesterday, cool people. they said come back friday and they might have something in my size to work with. thanks again for the recommendations- if any of you find yourself in or around Chicago in the future you will have to hit me up- very fun city for cycling.. literally zero hills/climbs and hundreds of miles of off street paths.

Hi everyone I am visiting London for a month. After looking into renting a bike I have decided that buying one could be a better idea. I have been searching the forum here for a very long time. I have seen several links to shops. . none of them really specify if they sell fixed gear, which I am looking for. I found some good info.. but its from 2008 and the places that were recommended are out of business. Brick Lane Bikes seems legit, but pricey- and again- they do not specify if they sell 2nd hand.
Again, I am desperately seeking a shop, in London; that would have 2nd hand/USED fixed gear bikes - I would also consider buying new however my budget is looking like 250GBP maximum. Any help pointing me in the right direction would be much appreciated, I apologize if this has been covered already - all of the links I found were for freewheel multi-gear bike(s)/shops; which I have a severe allergic reaction to.
I found a site www.gumtree.com that has a decent amount of mostly used fixed gear- seems that some of the local shops post bikes for sale on there. can anyone vouch for this site? thank you all very much - hope to see you out on the streets, maybe you'll catch me passing you :] much love. -Ted
